Dunvegan Gardens: A Grande Prairie Landmark
This family-owned Grande Prairie business, operated by Dave, Betty, Chad and Anna Friesen, had its roots in the Peace River Valley at Dunvegan back in 1952 when Dave Friesen’s father began operations with a commercial vegetable garden.
In 1977 the Friesen family purchased a stretch of land on Highway 40 south of Grande Prairie to accommodate a growing retail facility for plants and related items. In the spring of 1995 The Old Barn Store and Tea House was added to the facility.
For over 30 years, the Friesen family has constantly strived to provide the highest quality products, and friendly, personalized service that has become the cornerstone of this fine, locally owned Grande Prairie business.
